Jincan Underground Chapter 5 is now available to read!

Happy birthday, Catarina!

She may not have had an appearance since chapter 1, but she drives this story. So to celebrate her birthday, she gets to be front and center for this chapter! 

I don't often give my characters birthdates since they're usually not important to the story and I tend to dive into a rabbit hole of figuring out what time of year the story takes place and therefore affects how old they are and how that affects relation to each other-- Yeah, so I try to avoid it. 

Since I was making profiles though, I decided to try giving JCU characters birthdates. I don't research any horoscope for them, I just go with gut feeling. Catarina feels like she's born in the summer. So I set it to be 6/30. ...Forgetting that it was coming up soon and I'll have to do something to celebrate. 

Next birthdate is probably Ladybug (7/7). Probably, because I haven't decided Spider and Kit's birthdates. I'll figure those out when I get to their profiles. 

The new chapter can be read by running the module on the main page, on webtoons if you prefer an infinite scroll format, or on namicomi if you prefer single page swipe. Both webtoons and namicomi will require login to those sites to read. 

The itch module can also be used to read on the phone, so whichever method you prefer will work! 

Regarding previous chapters' quality

Chapter 1 has been restored, but to a lower quality so it can be read in browser on itch. Chapters 2-4's quality has been reduced as well. I felt like this was a better compromise than removing the chapters completely from itch. I'll try to maintain newest chapters in highest quality and then switching to lower quality when a new chapter becomes available. 

In the future, I plan to have pages available in full quality on my ko-fi. But that will be a while, sometime after Arc 1 is finished.
