spanish version??

also I'm sorry if you find this offensive or have heard this a lot before but did you draw inspiration for the brother's character design from kyle brovlowski lol. he's got the same tupe of hat and the same red hair :]

(+1)

I don't find this offensive! It's also the first time I've heard it. I didn't take any inspo from South Park, but I can see the similarities!

The idea was wonderful. The execution? Eh. It might've dragged on for a bit too long, but oh well, that is a part of the visual novel experience. Protag is a massive dumbass tho.

(-1)

Personally I just CAN'T get past the art style, it makes me physically cringe every single time.

I was excited 😆 when I saw this game but after playing it it's Abit disappointing.

I felt as the mc you really didn't have a choice to choose which yandere you wanted it's like the mc was trying to stop me from choosing which yandere I wanted.

I really liked Leon but it's the constant back and forth do I really want Leon even after choosing I want him. It really removes you from the game and it's not enjoyable.

Also the mc narration is so exhausting

Do you want the yandere or nah.

It feels like I'm reading a Wattpad story written by an 11 year old.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this game broke me.

I genuinely never leave reviews. I usually play something, suffer in silence, and move on with my life. But Stuck in a Yandere Visual Novel was so mind-numbingly, soul-drainingly awful that I felt morally obligated to warn anyone who values their sanity.

First off : the “choices.” Oh, the beautiful illusion of freedom. Every decision feels like a setup in a psychological experiment where the scientist laughs at you. The protagonist knows exactly what not to do… and then does it anyway.

[SPOILERS] Example: the school bathroom scene with Vincent. I specifically chose to leave the bathroom to avoid him. My MC, the intellectual titan that he is, decides to stop, have a heartfelt talk, and console the guy anyway. Why even give me options if this moron’s going to override them like he’s speedrunning stupidity?

And let’s talk about the length. This game is so unnecessarily long that my finger now has trust issues. I’ve clicked through so many useless lines of dialogue that I swear I developed a repetitive strain injury. I’ve spent less time writing essays in college than trying to survive this visual purgatory.

The pacing is a cosmic joke. It takes forever for anything remotely interesting to happen, and when it finally does, it’s either nonsensical or immediately ruined by the protagonist’s inability to act like a human being. Every “plot twist” feels like it was written by someone who’s allergic to logic.

The art? The less said, the better. Every time a CG appeared, I had to squint at the text box just to avoid the nightmare fuel on screen. It’s like being rewarded for your suffering with a visual insult.

To summarize:

- Choices are a lie.

- The MC is a black hole of common sense.

- The pacing could outlast the heat death of the universe.

- My finger is suing for damages.

- And that bathroom scene deserves its own spot in the Museum of Poor Game Design.

I didn’t finish the game because at some point, my survival instincts finally kicked in. If this is what being “stuck in a yandere visual novel” feels like, then please, let me out.

oh my god 😭 you made me laugh 🥹 I guess I won't be downloading the game

(1 edit) (+1)

LOL thank you! Glad I made you laugh. U should still give it a shot tho, I didn’t like it, but maybe it’ll click for u. Taste is subjective!!

i thought you just didnt get the charm of 'setup in a psychological experiment' thing then i read the rest and damnn im confused if i want to download it or not because others are saying its good.

Honestly, you should just try it yourself! It’s free anyway, worst case, you just lose a bit of time😭

well i did and i liked it maybe because im like yanderes and psychological stories . and the art is kinda tolerable  but ngl mc is stupid af and the smartest thing he has done in this whole game is telling those 2 to go to therapy and it took me 10 hours to get to that point. the only thing i actually hate is mc's behavior but thats just how they make them in vn games.

(-1)

I just finished playing it and got the True End. This was so much fun, I still need to go back and check out anything I missed and also play B-side. I'm hoping to get any lingering questions answered upon doing so. I'm coming back for you Leon, don't cry! And don't kill anyone!

(1 edit) (+2)(-1)

nice game

(+2)

I read the title and went "wow, this looks silly! I guess I'm downloading it!!"

That was an 2 hours ago, I'm still crying.

(+1)(-1)

this game is awesomee i love it

(+4)(-1)

Oh my god. I don't know what I was expecting when I downloaded this game, but it certainly wasn't this. This game is so much better than I expected it to be. I love that there's more than meets the eye and I'm so glad I went in blind because this experience was absolutely amazing. Thank you dearly to the creators for making this wondrous game, and I hope it gets all the appreciation it so very much deserves.

Alright… this game was a lot to take in, but I definitely had fun with it. Spoilers ahead.

I went into it without any expectations (I try not to compare games too much) and was somewhat pleasantly surprised by how well the whole “Oh no, I’m stuck in this game world, how do I get out?” premise was executed. I did my first playthrough without a guide and somehow ended up with the True Ending (after dying plenty along the way, of course). That ending left me feeling a little… sad for the brother, honestly. Before seeing the Bonus Side Story, I could somewhat understand how he snapped after his brother suddenly disappeared and left behind all the chaos he created. His reaction was extreme, but then again, what else would you expect from a character right out of a Yandere visual novel?

After that, I went back for the good endings, and I really liked both Leon’s and Vincent’s. (Everything thats coming now until the Brother, are thoughts before Side B. :3)

The MC was… interesting. The constant screaming did get a bit repetitive for me (no shade to the voice actor, they did great, it just wore on me after a while). But to be fair, if I were dropped into a Yandere VN myself, I’d probably be screaming the entire time too. His “reveal” as a yandere himself in his good ending didn’t really shock me. The story sprinkled in enough hints through his reactions and his understanding of the other yanderes in the later game. His good ending hairstyle? Loved it. His slight hypocrisy? Eh, maybe intentional, and it actually worked for the story. Also, his carefully planned “escape strategy” at the start slowly getting derailed by him thirsting over the LIs was hilarious and honestly? Big Mood.

Between the two love interests, Leon was probably my favorite. I’m weak for the “best friend” trope in VNs, and I thought his part of the story was done really well. Out of the two, I believed Leon the most when he said he loved MC and genuinely wanted the best for him...yes, still with the grain of salt that he is a yandere. But his willingness to try and change (even if he struggled) felt sincere, and I really appreciated that nuance.

Vincent, on the other hand, had some strong moments when he was vulnerable and let his true feelings show. I did sometimes wonder if he was actually in love with the MC, or if he was just in love with the idea of MC being his “hero.” It felt less like love for MC as a person, and more like an obsession with what MC represented to him. Very classic yandere, but still, he was interesting and fun to explore. I also think him going to therapy, was more "to please" MC. But I could be wrong.

As for the little brother...hoo boy. He was painted as the most suspicious from the start, which worked, and Side B confirmed why. At first, I honestly pitied him in the True Ending, but after Side B, that sympathy fizzled out. His reasoning boiled down to “my brother died, I want him back”, but the teddy outright told him that what he was getting wasn’t going to be the same person. He somewhat knew the MC saw the world as a “game,” and meanwhile, for the brother, it was reality, which made things more tragic. But at the same time, him going on a full murder spree because he couldn’t have his brother anymore just cemented him as the true yandere of the story.

The visuals were solid, though I would have loved more romantic CGs to balance out all the bloodier moments. Still, the style was okay and I liked how it tied into the overall theme.

All in all, this was a fun and wild ride. I’m glad I stuck with it and got to see every ending. Now that I’ve survived this Yandere VN, I’ll be taking my leave before anyone traps me in another one.

I spent the whole afternoon to evening playing the game, and oh man did I love it. I went into the game having zero expectations/not sure what to expect and had such a good time and lots of fun. I struggled a bit to get the good endings since I didn't know I had to start a new game to manage it. But even so, I found the story quite compelling and loved the plot twists! I think the VN is quite well-made, with a bunch of animations, the sprites are moving at all times, the backgrounds at times too, sfx, very pleasant experience. The illustrations are a bit lackluster, especially at the romantic bits, but they made me laugh so bad I've grown fond of them.

Unfortunately the game does not have mobile support at the moment. You'll have to download and play on PC.

I survived playing this with two of my friends and I wouldn't wish this gameplay experience on my worst enemies. — this game was a solid 0/10, but a 10/10 for permanent psychological damage and 15+ hours of my life wasted.

I'm a completionist, so I forced myself to sit through the entire game to get all of the endings.

Let's start with the guide; and let me tell you that it was completely useless. It's horrible in every single way possible. It told me I needed equal points with Vincent and Leon to progress to Part 3. That was a fucking lie. After wasting 4 hours trying to continue, we found out—through the comment section, mind you. Because that's where the truth lives now, not the guide—that you needed a ratio of 2/3 points in order to progress into Part 3.

Now, the protagonist. The protagonist has the brain power of a pigeon flying into a window twice. In the first 15 minutes of the game he makes a survival plan to get through the entire month safely and STILL manages to fuck it up and swoon the moment a boy smirks at him. How STUPID do you have to be?

Oh, and your choices? THEY DON'T MATTER. NOTHING MATTERS ANYMORE. You click buttons and PRETEND. You don't want to comfort Vincent? Well, you have to. You don't want to get food poisoning from the cupcake? Have a chocolate bar instead!

The ending was freedom. BAD, yes, but freedom. Peace. Happiness. When I got the true ending, I couldn't help but think that it was finally over. The main character DESERVED to die for what he put ME through. I hated every character with a PASSION and the only bearable ones were Reme and our little brother.

In conclusion... uhh. Look, I really don't recommend it. But if there's someone you don't like? Then yeah, maybe tell them to play this.

(Spoilers)

My friend and I spent about 20 total hours getting 7/10 endings (No Side B). We couldn't bring ourselves to get the other 3 after we got the true ending. I think I have earned the right to say that this game was horrendously bad. Every additional click felt like a year taken off my life. I stayed because I wanted to put faith in the tidbits of plot that we were thrown in every 300 clicks. 80% of this game could've been cut out and still retained the meaning of the plot. I expected some kind of profound social commentary as a reward for my torture, but it all meant nothing by the end because the true ending is just genuinely horrendous. Even if I disregard the agonizing pacing, it's all built on petty, shallow "love", and simple revenge. The Bible had a better revenge plot in Genesis when Cain kills his brother Abel. At least the Bible teaches you something. and God actually punishes Cain for his wickedness,

This game could've been a tragicomedy masterpiece if the protagonist treated everything like a joke and poked fun at the insanity of his situation. Instead, he takes the abhorrently inconsistent romance and RUNS with it. For example, there were were so many points in the game when the protagonist acknowledges that the love interests may kill him, and can't help but swooning regardless??? Vincent literally hires kidnappers TWICE, and by the end, the protagonist continuously admires him. The game's plot revolves around the his idiocy, and even when the player tries to negate his stupidity, all efforts are futile. When you try to avoid the poisoned cupcakes and he eats another food that is very obviously trapped, I wanted to punch my laptop.

There was so much potential for depth and mystery with the inclusion of suspicion from the little brother, Reme, and the weird dialogue with Moria, It's just never never explored, and I was very disappointed because it was one of the only things that kept me sane enough to keep clicking. I feel cheated out of the shadow of a plot that this game contains.

The art... where do I begin? I had to keep my eyes GLUED to the text box whenever a CG was revealed for an important scene just to get through it. The proportions made me want to burst into tears. When the characters yell, they look like Domo in the worst way possible. Don't get me started on Vincent's cloak in the bar scene. I was expecting the protagonist to poke fun at it because it's HIDEOUS, but, proving my earlier point about his helplessness, HE LIKES IT. Everything looks so goofy, but it takes itself so seriously that the incongruous mood takes me out of the feeling that it's trying to create. The music didn't help either because it feels weird to get stabbed to death to the gentle tinkling of a piano. The voice acting also made my ears bleed. Why are you moaning at me while you bleed to death??? The only one with tolerable voice lines is Reme because she speaks in "ah".

In conclusion, that is 20 hours I will never get back, and this game's only saving grace is that it was free to play. It took 3 people to create Hollow Knight, and it's a masterpiece, The fact that 9 people contributed to this mind-numbing train wreck of a game, if you can even call it that, is bonkers. They should use this as a torture method for the most brutal of dictators and cult leaders at Guantanamo Bay.

(+5)(-1)

I completely agree with everything you said

(+4)(-1)

this is the funniest review i've ever read

(1 edit) (+2)(-1)

This game had a load of potential to either be rich with lore and point out how a real life person would react to how unrealistic dating sims or a gag game also pointing fun at how dumb dating sims can be, but it's stuck somewhere in the middle in the worst way possible. I don't know what the creators were trying to make.

This game is still pretty memorable and fun to see all of the endings but it gets pretty annoying when you can't avoid certain things like getting poisoned when the mc has experienced it before. I really liked playing a game with this type of plot but it could be better.

(+2)(-1)

4.5/5 stars! This is so much fun to play! I only wish that the good endings were a little longer. :)

(+1)(-1)

this game SLAPS(meaning its good

SPOILERS!!! I know this might seem stupid but..is there any chance of a new ending opening in this game? Where mc genuinely atones and the brother and him kind of come to a understanding? I know it seems stupid but the true end and the mc ending didnt make much sense with his character as a whole, esp the mc ending as we see throughout the story that he actually understands the pain of being stalked and the worries and advocates for therapy. It just seems so...ooc to me and theres a lot of plotholes in the game. Really good though for a free game so i dont think i should complain. Im guessing there will be a new game with the brother, i hope it closes up the plotwholes with Reme, mc and 'lil bro'.If anything of my comment seems confusing please tell me because i just finished the entire game without looking at the spoilers and my god has it been hours. Totally loved the game though and it was worth it!!!

this game matches so welle with the song "oops... i did it again" by britney spears...(just look at the part of the song everybody sings to)

[BROAD SPOILERS] So... I have some opinions. I like the concept of the game, I also like the art style and how it ties into the Valentines Day theme so well, but at times the plot felt so endlessly repetitive and convoluted that it took me out of the game tbh. Some things about the True End don't add up imo, with our brother's reactions in Part 1 and 2 feeling distant now that we know what he went through to get MC alive. Leon and Vincent's personalities also don't tie into what our transmigrated MC knew about them. I get the parallels between how we act with Newbie, and how the yanderes acted toward the Real MC, but I don't feel like it came across as eloquently as it could have. Overall, much respect to everyone involved in the creation and it was a fun game to play, it just wasn't the cute game I expected and wished for. Had a lot less romance for a romance-focused VN. Despite all of that, it was a fun experience and I'd recommend it to anyone more experienced in VNs since for beginners the whole part 2 might be a bit of a drag. Thank you for creating this!

(+2)

i havent played much rn (only on day like 4) but mannnn i hate vincent's guts im literally commenting just to say this rich kid is boiling my blood GREAT GAME LOVE THE CONCEPT AND READING THESE COMMENTS MAKES ME REALIZE THAT THE GAME MIGHT BE EVEN BETTER THAN I WAS EXPECTING but mannnnn i hate this guy and i hate that this mc wont just run away from vincent LET ME AVOID HIM I HATE HIM

(+2)(-2)

this was so goooood. really blew me offguard! i loved both of the characters so I liked the way they were both included in the story. And i also liked the brother a lot so it's great he showed up a lot too

i will definitely recommend this to all my friends (well, to all that i know wouldn't find it too weird)

Thank you so much! I hope your friends will enjoy it as well! :D

(+1)(-2)

this game was INSANE. the true plot was not what I expected at all, I figured I'd make it to valentine's day and then it'd be over... boy was I wrong! def recommend you give it a play if you haven't!
