Im so hooked and this game has been in the back of my mind for weeks! Are you planning on having good endings? Maybe once the mc has reached a certain amount of bad endings, or when they're looking to expand the lore? Even if not, im still excited to see where this goes and will totally have my credit card ready for the final product
Literally been GLUED TO THIS GAME!! The MC is so relatable and all the characters are fun! Also, this game got me looking into lovecore, I LOVE (lol) the aesthetic! Honestly, it's so long I actually forgot it was a demo. Leon is babygirl fr fr.
OMG I ABSOLUTE LOVE LEON!! I really wish we could just have a 1 on 1 game with him because vincent is obnoxious. Leon is the perfect character for me, a yandere himbo jock. Girl im dropping 60 bucks when this game comes out.
I finished the game with the help of the guide... Please, in a future update, don't add a ending killing the younger brother please, I really cried a lot... I like the game, it's the best visual novel i ever see but the Younger brother no plis
Just finished the game and I LOVED IT, super fun and creative, so im really looking forward for the complete version, the only "complaint" i have, (which is not really seruious lol), is that I HATE LEON, SON OF A *****, got me angry almost every scene he showed up. Vincent had my heart since the begining lol, super cute. Thank you.
made an account just to say how good this is!!! im really excited for the full game! (Spoilers here?) I've only gotten 2 endings, and both of them are vincent's bad ones, but I'm still having fun. Now I gotta go try to get em all >:)
such a cute, wonderful game. i enjoyed every second of it. highly recommend. cannot get over how fun it is. demo is awesome and choices really do matter. wonderful and extraordinary.
This game is seriously so good! Honestly, if it weren't for the "Demo" notice, I would've thought this was a finished game. Story-wise, there are so many questions that need to be answered. Exploration of the world and other characters relative to the story and especially the past ones are definitely needed for the official release!
I honestly didn't expect the characters to have so much depth into them, even the ones outside the main plot (MC & Love Interests) to be so interesting. This has me totally invested to learn their own personalities, possible motives, and their reaction to whatever scenario is presented.
It takes a more fresh take on the cilche trope of typical yanderes (which are often romanticized which leads to the neglect of the actual gravity of the situation) to a whole new level! It takes a more realistic approach to yanderes and how MCs/darlings should react in those situations. (I wish there was a happy romantic ending though...)
Without a doubt, this will certainly become one of the top visual novels once there is an official release of this. At least for me, it will be.
It is truly quite an experience, thank you so much to the Development Team as well as the Voice Cast for placing so much effort into this.
I hope it'll be available soon for everyone once it releases officially!!
Hi!! I have finished the demo recently. Haven't expected It'd be stuck in my head the time I started khkhkhk
I love how the game isn't just a usual bl-date-sim, love all the jokes, 4 walls breaking, how the main hero behaves himself etcetera. And I really loved the ending, and how you [spoiler ahead I guess] put the idea that yandere-like behaviour is not normal at all, and all these dudes need to go to therapist. I mean when the mc was shouting it to their faces, I went like oh yeah slay boy. And in the end they really decided to go for help, like? It's really cool, new and kinda modern? for me at least. Love the approach. And I'm glad you don't only not idolize yan-behaviour, but also telling the fact that it's sick.
I was thinking at the beginning of my way of this game that I'll end it soon and make it over with, but I got really involved in the plot and all things that was going on!!
Just wanted to say I'm liking the way this project is going in, however, waiting for the final version I guess? Keep it up? <З
I downloaded the game yesterday, and I'm already in love with it. Despite I may or may not have sworn badly at the characters in some of the endings... The bag gifts mostly.
The concept of the game was amazing, and the use of metalanguage was very creative and funny. It was really well written, too. The comedy got me laughing, and the mystery got me hooked.
The art was lovely, and, as a background artist, I was mesmerized at how you merged the scenery elements with the flow of events. It added a lot of dynamic, as well as when the characters moved through the screen (I always laughed when someone popped out their head from the corner of the screen). I got 17/18 out of the CGs >:D (Which means a lot of deaths... Way too many of them in sequence before I found the existence of the guide (T▽T) ). I just couldn't get the last one yet.
I can't wait for the full game to release; good work for you guys!
I have not stopped thinking about this game since I finished it on Saturday(really, since I started playing Thursday). I'm so impressed with how you hint at what the other characters are thinking, even when the MC doesn't pick up on it(I love myself an unreliable narrator). I initially downloaded the game because I thought it was going to be just a parody game, but I got super invested instead. Even when I wasn't playing I was thinking about wanting to see the end.
I've never written a long comment on itch.io before, so I'm not sure where the cutoff is before it hides the rest under a keep reading button, so I'll add some space for (MAJOR) spoilers.
What really sucked me in was seeing how (or at least this is how I interpreted things,) Leon and Vincent slowly started changing from normal people with flaws(Leon's anger issues and Vincent's need for things to go his way, both of their possessiveness) to unnatural changes that make them scared of themselves. It made me pay special attention to everything they said and did, because I knew it wasn't going to be spelled out, which was fun. The moment I had the "realization" that Leon, Vincent, and Reme had completely different personalities from the original game, I knew I was in for a good time.
I also really liked how real the supposedly fake world was. The original main character had his own personality that everyone else is noticing how different the MC is acting from. And everyone had history with him too, even Vincent and Reme. It felt very "lived in." I had a feeling that the setting was more than just an exact replica of the original game, but "knew" for sure when the brother asked Leon if he had been talking to the MC late into the night, then Leon said that they actually hadn't been talking outside of school for a while. I wanted to hit my forehead, because I realized of course that would be weird. In real life best friends hang out lots after school and call/text at night, but since in visual novels the only interactions are scripted interactions at school, the MC wouldn't think it's "on the agenda" to keep contact with Leon after the bell. I had to second guess myself once again though at the unfinished room in the aquarium.
My best guess is that the setting is like if someone "breathed life" into the original game, with the limitations that the game originally had (like unfinished backgrounds and shadow npcs) but a fully realized world and characters that grew around the framework the original writing had. And it's directing the three LIs(maybe not including Reme?) onto the path of the story by changing their personalities gradually. I could be wrong, though!
And even though the MC's coworker(?) is only mentioned a few times, any time that he felt he was forgetting something or said something like "I still have something I want to do" I was SUPER curious. Especially since he's in promotional art for your game; afaik I have 100%-ed the demo and didn't see him much, so now I'm excited to see how he'll show up in the full version.
Even though I was making guesses and updating those guesses as to "what was going on" all throughout the story, I was still on my toes the whole time because I was never quite sure, so I couldn't tell what was going to happen next or what the choices would do. I saved before literally every choice, lol, if I remember correctly I have 10 pages of save files.
My favorite character was Leon. With all these things I talked about, I enjoyed seeing it the most with him, partially because he's got the most history with the original MC so the changes become most obvious when he's around. I also just like "gentle giants" (to whatever extent you could apply that term to him) who try to suppress their anger. He also felt like the most "realistic" character to me(although they all were good), I knew like at least three guys like him in high school. A lot of the smaller scenes that stuck out most to me involved him too, like when he dented the locker and failed to say "I'm happy for you" or got into a fistfight with his teammate. And my absolute favorite scene was when they rode the train home after he rescued him. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but I love the parallel of the MC falling asleep on the way to school earlier in the story, and Leon falling asleep in this scene.
Idk how to put it, but the way you focus on their personal problems that are more grounded in reality and not so easily romanticized is the main thing that made me appreciate this game. It especially showed in the survival ending.
Lastly, I just had a lot of fun and laughs! The meta humor landed for me. I actually laughed out loud at several parts, perhaps loudest on one of the later days when the interface started talking back to the MC using the choices menu.
I'm really looking forward to the full release! I'm sorry if the length is unusual or I said anything strange, I'm new to itch.io and don't know anything about commenting etiquette. Please take your time to make the best game you can while taking care of yourself.
Thank you so much for the long comment, they're definitely very loved on itch! So no worries, haha. I'm so glad you enjoyed the game and it makes really happy to see all the small details you picked out! Reading your comment really made my day, thank you so much!
I love the concept and what you're doing here!!! It's very creative and very fun to play!
Tho the only thing that causes problem is the main character's sound effects, they sometimes don't fit the situations and are too loud compared to others
Other than that, awesome game! can't wait for the full release!!
Agreed. The screaming happens a bit too often sometimes and it makes it hard for me to read what's happening because he's going 'Eeep eeep!' when the text is some long paragraph. Or he does a 6 second long 'ahhhh' which sounds like a 9 yr old boy rather than a near-adult teen lol It's very odd. They obviously tried hard on this and I'm enjoying it but the voices don't fully match the characters and are used either too much or at awkward times.
The facial expressions on the other hand are fantastic!
I really like this game, but the main character's sound effects are some of the worst things I've ever heard. Too high-pitched and strained. I had to mute the game after a while.
The story itself is intriguing, and I like the art style and general aesthetics, but man, those voices...

Lo siento, actualmente no hay planes para una traducción. Quizás cuando termine el juego, pueda buscar un traductor.
(google translate)
I'm sorry, there are currently no plans for a translation. Perhaps when the game is done, I may be able to look for a translator.
This was such a cool and fun game I love your writing!!
This game has invaded my mind and refuses to leave. (I love it.)
I can't wait to uncover the mysteries in this game.
One of the being (spoiler alert ig):
What did Vincent say to the MC before the events of the game???
i just finished the demo and i can't wait for the next update :)))
really enjoyable, optional storyline that determines your final ending, definetly would reccomend
a very entertaining game overall, the mc may be a guy but that doesnt make the game boring or unenjoyable

bro i have so many question like
vincent's uncle
whats that redacted WORD ALONG THE near end of the demo
mc brother
mc's parents
Such a good game!!! Wish there were more choices of… compliance, y’know? Then again, I’d pity the MC for going through everything lol

That is because Leon is such a good boy... :D
Do you still need help? Which end specifically are you struggling with?
